S-5!® ColorGard® 2.0 and
RoofTech single or double pipe bracket snow guard systems
A professional snow guard should prevent snow and ice from falling from the roof onto people, vehicles and other objects. According to country-specific regulations, e.g. in Germany according to DIN EN 1991–1‑3, the state building regulations and municipal regulations, snow guard systems are required for roofs on traffic areas and above entrances.
As part of the duty of care, the homeowner is liable for roof and ice avalanches and must therefore ensure that his roof is secured in this regard.
The design and construction of a snow guard system depends, among other things, on the location, the use and position of the building as well as the roof shape and slope.
