Solarud Waterdrain Clip

Against contamination of the solar modules.

The problem of pollution affects solar plants all over the world, with the impact being more or less severe depending on the location and the frequency of rainfall. Typically, the dust concentrates on the underside of the solar modules, near the frame and corners. The consequences are reduced energy yield and, in the long term, damage to the module.

The solution: module drainage with the Solarud Waterdrain Clip.
The Solarud Waterdrain Clip prevents the accumulation of water and dirt when it rains by draining the standing water on the lower frame side of the solar module. The direct result is an increase in energy production and an increase in the service life of the modules cleaned in this way.

Installation instructions for the Solarud Waterdrain Clip:

The number of clips required depends on the type of module installation. 

• Modules mounted vertically:
  Installation of two Solarud Nextgen clips at a distance of 15-20 cm from the bottom corners of the module.
• Modules mounted horizontally:
  Installation of 3 Solarud Nextgen clips: two at a distance of 15-20 cm from the bottom corners of the module and one clip in the middle.

Note:
For module frame heights of 28 mm, please do not bend the plastic wings. For frame heights between 28-40 mm, only bend the necessary plastic wings (see photo above).
