S-5!® Z-Mini

The S-5!® Z-Clamps are specially designed for metal roofs with round-fold profiles with a diameter of up to 22 mm, such as Kalzip®, Bemo®, Aluform, Euroseam®, Kingspan, etc. The Z‑Mini with a grub screw, The adapter, top-mounted M8 thread (without M8 screw), and adapter are used in applications where rigid objects, such as rails, need to be secured to the seam using multiple clamps. Other applications include the installation of the S‑5!® PVKIT, the RoofTech snow guards for single and double pipes, steps, walkways, railings, and much more.

The Z-Clamps, made of aluminium, are suitable for all roofing materials expect copper.

A special feature of the S‑5!® Z-clamps is the special Fitting part on the inside of the clamp. This enables a perfect form-fitting and frictional connection with the rebate profile. This means that the Z-clamps have very high holding forces.

In contrast to counterfeits and conventional seam clamps, all three S‑5!® E clamps have been tested on a variety of double standing seam profiles and materials from various international manufacturers by independent US testing institutes.
In addition, all S‑5!® E-Kemmen have been tested by the KIT in Karlsruhe on the complete roof structure together with the Rheinzink double standing seam system and are therefore the only standing seam clamps approved by the building authorities for this handcrafted double standing seam roof.

According to the building authority approval, the S‑5!® E clamps are used to anchor attachments, in particular supporting structures for solar systems. This also proves the usability and applicability of the approved object in accordance with the state building regulations. The load-bearing values ​​from the building authority approval DIBt No.: Z‑14.4–719 can be used for static calculations.

Note from Kalzip

When using clamps from other manufacturers, Kalzip requires “official proof of suitability for assembly with Kalzip”. For this reason, only tested system accessories approved by the building authorities for this purpose may be used for fastenings to Kalzip roof coverings.
Components that are not part of the system (not approved by the building authorities) invalidate the Kalzip warranty!

The DIBt building approval provides such proof for the S‑5!® Z‑clamps, which can therefore be officially on the Kalzip round seam roofs and used for installations.
