The BirdBlocker® BoxClips made of stainless steel were developed for attaching the BirdBlocker strips to modules with box or box frame profiles. There are currently some module manufacturers whose modules do not have sufficient flange overhang (frame sheet) on the short side, but rather so-called box or box frame profiles. 
These BoxClips can be securely mounted on the inside and outside of the short frame, are barely visible and require only minimal adjustments to the BirdBlocker® installation. On the long inner frame sides of the modules, installation is carried out as usual using the standard BirdBlocker® fastening clips.

The following BirdBlocker® BoxClips with corresponding dimensions (height x width) are offered:

• 30 x 8–13 mm
• 30 x 14–18 mm
• 35 x 8--13mm
• 35 x 14–18 mm

The four different sizes of BoxClips cover 95% of all modules on the market. 

It is important that the BirdBlocker strips are installed all around the solar system and that the needles of the BirdBlocker® are stable on the roof surface so that resistance is provided.
We recommend installing the BirdBlocker® as a preventative measure, i.e. at the same time as the PV installation, but subsequent installation is also easily possible. BirdBlocker® fits on all common modules and substructures (unfortunately, retractable systems are not suitable).

BirdBlocker strips with pre-assembled Mounting clips:

In order to shorten the work preparation and installation time for the assembly team, we offer you the option of ordering the BirdBlocker strips with four pre-assembled fastening clips for every 50 cm of BirdBlocker strip: Article: BB85-30-C, BB125-30-C or BB200-30-C.

This step can be skipped thanks to the pre-assembled clips. saves considerable time and assembly effort. This means that installing BirdBlocker® simply involves attaching the strips to the frames of the solar modules, cutting the corners and connecting them with cable ties to create all-round protection against birds.
