BirdBlocker® BB200

BirdBlocker installation without screwing, drilling or gluing. Since the fastening with the stainless steel clips the PV module not damaged, the warranty remains valid!

The BirdBlocker® BB200 with a length of the “needles” of 200 mm is for one maximum application height of 195 mm. The BirdBlocker® BB200 is packed with 60×50 cm BirdBlocker strips from UV-resistant and recyclable HDPE, 250 pieces of stainless steel fastening clips (not pre-assembled) and 100 pieces of cable ties.

Suitable module frames are those with an inner flat profile at least 10 mm wide with frame thicknesses of 1,0-2,0 mm to which the BirdBlocker strips are easily and securely mounted using the stainless steel fastening clips. For box frames with an insufficiently wide frame plate on the short side of the modules, such as the Trina Vertex modules, we offer special fastening clips (box clips) in different sizes separately. 

It is important that the BirdBlocker strips are installed all around the solar system and that the needles of the BirdBlocker are stable on the roof surface so that resistance is provided.
We recommend installing the BirdBlocker® as a preventative measure, i.e. at the same time as the PV installation, but subsequent installation is also easily possible. BirdBlocker® fits on all common modules and substructures (unfortunately, retractable systems are not suitable).

BirdBlocker strips with pre-assembled Mounting clips:

In order to shorten the work preparation and installation time for the assembly team, we offer you the option of ordering the BirdBlocker strips with four pre-assembled fastening clips for each 50 cm BirdBlocker strip: Article: BB200-30-C.

This step can be skipped thanks to the pre-assembled clips. saves considerable time and assembly effort. This means that installing BirdBlocker® simply involves attaching the strips to the frames of the solar modules, cutting the corners and connecting them with cable ties to create all-round protection against birds.
