With the extensively tested S‑5!®-Clamps can connect solar systems with rail systems or directly with the S‑5! PVKIT® can be professionally and permanently safely installed on different metal roofs.

For years, many well-known mounting system manufacturers and dealers have been using the original S‑5!®-Clamps are successful worldwide. Installers and builders appreciate the proven high holding forces and the simple and flexible installation. The clamp is selected based on the type of fold or profile of the metal roof.

Direct mounting, without rails, with the S‑5! PVKIT® and S‑5!® mini clamps

Easy to install and cost-effective due to significantly lower material requirements, easy transport to the roof and no waste or unusable leftovers. In just one installation step, the module clamp is inserted from top to bottom through the support disc on the S‑5!® Mini clamp mounted. This saves time and significantly reduces overall installation costs.  S‑5! PVKIT

Roof-friendly and economical installation with the S-5! PVKIT® MidGrab and S-5!® E-Mini clamps on double standing seam aluminum roofs. The pre-assembled MidGrab module clamp can be used flexibly as a middle and end clamp.

Roof-friendly installations with the S‑5!® PVKIT. The horizontal installation of the modules results in fewer winsog loads. And only one module is attached at a time across the folds - so there is hardly any transverse movement. Economical on large and small roof areas.

Solar systems securely mounted with rail systems and the S-5!®terminals

The S‑5!® clamps with M8 thread are ideal for C- or U-shaped rails or for rails that are attached with an adapter plate or angle adapter. The E‑Mini-FL and Z‑Mini-FL with flange and slot are usually used to fasten rails with a screw channel underneath.

With the S‑5! clamps, PV systems and all other necessary installations can be mounted flexibly and securely on metal roofs.

It must be checked in advance and ensured that the forces from the additional loads of the installations and the snow and wind loads can be absorbed by the clamps or brackets, the metal roof profile, the fastening of the metal roof and the supporting structure.

Please note:

The respective product assembly instructions must always be observed (included in every box and with every delivery or please request or download from our homepage). During the entire installation period, it must be ensured that at least one copy of the relevant installation instructions is available on site to all those involved in the installation and is carefully followed during installation.Installation of our products should only be carried out by specialists and specialist companies who are qualified for the respective installation and have experience working on roofs. During assembly, the warranties of all trades involved and of the roof as well as the respective regulations for working on roofs must be observed (e.g. the use of fall protection, scaffolding with safety devices from an eaves height of 3 m, accident protection, insurance, etc.). The presence of two people is mandatory for the entire assembly process in order to be able to ensure rapid assistance in the event of an accident.

With very few exceptions, the load-bearing capacity of each individual S‑5!® clamp is greater than the load-bearing capacity of the roof panels or profile sheets and their fastening to the supporting structure. This applies not only to the normal clamps but also to the S‑5!® mini clamps. Therefore, the weak points are usually not the clamps, but the roof covering and its fastening.

Depending on the use of the respective S‑5!® clamp, it must be ensured that the forces transferred from the clamp to the seam can be absorbed by the seam or by the supporting structure. In particular, the snow and wind loads, the additional loads from the installations attached to the clamps, as well as the increased stresses in the edge and corner areas of the roof structure must be taken into account. A sufficient number of clamps must be provided. For statically relevant clamps, a distance of at least 500 mm from the end of the standing seam profile must be maintained.

The respective installation instructions do not release the executing company from the obligation to clarify the possible uses and application of our products, also in connection with the other materials used, on the individual object in advance. If our installation instructions are not followed and if other components are used that were not purchased from us, we accept no liability for any resulting defects or damage. The warranty is therefore excluded.
